Bagages Du Monde expertly handled the import of my dog and cats from the United States into France. My pets arrived safely and were treated with great care. BDM provide provided clear and regular communication, on all of the import requirements, and lowered my stress level with the import process. Everything went efficiently in a way that it would not have, without the help of their expertise. I am grateful for their knowledge, customer service, and the good care they took of my animals. I am extremely disappointed with Baggage Du Monde. I paid a very high price and respected all deadlines on my side, yet the service was absolutely not delivered as promised. The shipment was seriously delayed, with no respect for the agreed timeline. Even worse, there was a poor communication. I constantly had to chase them, in order to get updates and to understand why such a delay happened. While they told me they would call me back to keep me informed, but they didn’t. When you charge such high prices, the minimum expectation is reliability and communication.
We had a group of 25 people that needed to get all of our ski gear from Paris to Les Gets. I worked with Lisa & Elodie, who were incredibly helpful. Their response time was very quick and the pick up and drop off went smoothly. I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you Lisa & Elodie!!
Two carryons for 6 hours (16€ total). Very safe. It’s right above to the RER B station. Very convenient and secure. The staff were nice.
I emailed before our trip to Paris with the details (weight and dimensions), of our two dogs crates, which would be disassembled and one stacked inside the other. I was quoted about €720 for 3 months. This would allow us to rent a smaller car and save about €1500. When I arrived (with the crates broken down), I was charged about €1500. No amount of reasoning would convince the clerk of the previous quote, and having just flown from California and exhausted, I figured I would pay and work it out with their office, including sending a copy of the original email. They refused to budge, and when I said “fine, I’ll just come pick them up”, (which would have been an 8-hour trip), they said I’d be charged the full amount regardless. I’m only giving 1-star because Google won’t let me go any lower.
