Upfront conclusion: don't waste your time. I contacted Animailers by phone a few weeks prior to writing this review; I was abruptly told to use their website to obtain a quote. I then spent the time measuring our cats to gather all the details they require for their online form. As of today, I submitted my request for quote over a week ago and have not received any correspondence.

Moving overseas with pets can be incredibly stressful. Tom at Animailers understood that and helped us every step along the way, despite several travel restrictions and complications. We actually had our flight by Lufthansa for our pets (the same as our own) cancelled a few days before we left the country - Tom found a way to have our pets shipped to a different airport in the same country and organized customs clearance and delivery via shuttle from several hours away. This was a huge relief and our pets got to the new 'home' safely only two days after us.

I would recommend Animailers to assist with your customs clearance, and kennelling needs. Went out of their way for my Gary to be collected on a Sunday morning so he would not have to wait another day for his transfer up to Massachusetts. Clearing him easily off of Qatar Airways from South Africa was a weight off of my mind knowing he was in capable hands upon arrival to his new country. Thanks Mellody, Tom and the Animailers Team!

Would not recommend. We were quoted much more than a few other companies to get our 27 lb dog to Okinawa. Mellody ‘s communication was subpar at best. She refused to speak to me on the phone & when I called, her husband refused to take a message stating she’d know who I was, he was rude! I really felt like this company could care less about me or my dog. It was as if we were a big inconvenience...one they were charging $4,000 for. We wound up using a pet friendly airline & doing it ourselves which made for a better experience. I’d look at Sarah’s Pet Paradise if you need a pet shipper, stay away from Animailers!

A military PCS move overseas is stressful enough on its own. Adding multiple animals on top of that, overwhelming doesn't even begin to describe it. These people, which, by the way, are the ones getting paid to do their jobs, don't even pretend they care. They aren't interested in helping you. They don't want to make anything easier for you. They think they have more authority than the USDA and USDA accredited veterinarians to tell you what to do. Every correspondence from them is condescending and patronizing to say the least, and it honestly felt like they were doing everything they could to make the whole experience as difficult for us as possible.
