Clean and organized office. Never a terrible wait in the main area. Long wait in the room, but preferred over waiting in the lobby. Fee for visit was average rates. I brought all three of my dogs to the same appointment. Although I was told it was one charge visit for all of them, they charged me three separate times. Every time I was here they found a way to introduce an extra “recommended “ charge that was terribly expensive. They don’t give you a hard time about saying no but you definitely have to bring it up as an option- also not out of the normal. I had to check my pre- invoice carefully. Health certificate was expensive. Medications were overpriced. Great for routine visits not for urgent or emergent care. The staff was nice, but the vets themselves aren’t particularly pet friendly for their field.
Clean, convenient location with average routine visit costs. Longer wait times in the rooms.

Armstrong Pet Hospital (APH) was great the first few years we went to them, however as of 2026 their customers service had gone down hill. They will no longer work with 3rd party pharmacies such as Chewy. They automatically place callers on hold, for extremely long hold times before the call is disconnected! This happens 98% of the times I have called.

My family has been bringing our pets to Armstrong Pet Hospital for the better part of the last 15 years, which means they’ve seen a lot of our pets. Both the vets and their staff are incredibly kind, compassionate, competent, and amazing. They never push services that your pets don’t need and explain everything thoroughly. I recommend them regularly friends, coworkers, and even my physical therapist recently who was looking for a new vet. I trust every one of their vets and won’t take my pups anywhere else. The best pet hospital around. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

My two rescue doggies Ruby and Fred are both very shy. Dr Deol and Dr. Raj, and their staff, have always been excellent with them! Allowing them to decompress and get acquainted before handling them

Armstrong Vet has one of the largest waiting rooms of any vets in the Fresno and Clovis area. It is very comfortable and chic. Even with several assistants at the front desk, you do have to wait a little bit but Dr. Reyes was worth the wait. She was warm and friendly with my dog and very knowledgeable. I fully believe that my dog was well taken care of during his surgery and the lab work was thorough. We were sent home with medications that were ready at pick-up and good instructions for follow-up care. We'll see them again in a couple of weeks.
