I can't say enough about how grateful I am to Sharon and Pets to Home. Transporting your fur baby internationally is complicated and I had a million questions and her team helped me with all of them( via email or whatsapp, so it was not a fast process but we got there). I chose to have my mother transport my ESA dog to SJO and bring her with all her documentation from our vet. We brought her to the check-in terminal the morning before her flight and then brought her back that evening for her early morning flight. Sharon had a staff member from Pets to Home meet us at both appointments to make sure my dog had everything needed. (Pets to Home can do the whole process if you wanted to simplify things as well) My dog arrived in Austin, TX and I went to the cargo office they mentioned, got a document, went to the airport to the customs desk and had it stamped. Then went back to the cargo facility, paid the customs fee online, and they loaded my puppy into the car. Once I understood, that I had to go through that process it was not complicated or stressful. And I know it's usually a 4 hour process but the Austin Airport is small and I had my dog within a hour of her landing. She was perfectly fine, and came to her new home happy and excited. I can't recommend Pets to Home enough!
Amazing Services ! This was our 3 time flying Kaya back and forth between CR and Canada. For this time we choose Pets to Home and Javier and his team provide a outstanding services with everything that happen and can happen in this process..... Our son Jacob was able to reunited with his big brother Kaya !!!
Pets to Home is outstanding in every way. We met the sweetest beach dog at our hotel in Guanacaste and wanted to bring her to Canada. Javier at Pets to Home handled absolutely everything. The entire adoption was seamless. Javier looked after the pick up from the hotel area, driving her to his house for a few days so she could get comfortable with him and not be as frightened. He sent us many photos of her in his lovely garden. He then brought her to the airport and took the two planes with her to Canada (turning around and flying right back (more than 12 hours of travel). He was simply wonderful. He handled all the paperwork, the customs, and everything else. All we had to do was show up at the airport to pick up our sweet dog. From beginning to end, Javier was in touch with us to plan the trip and answer all my questions. His communication was truly excellent. The day of the pick up he handed our puppy over to us in a lovely crate with food and water attached to it. Pets to Home had thought of everything. If you are thinking of adopting a pet from Costa Rica, I highly recommend using this company. They are incredibly capable, efficient, organized and trustworthy. Most importantly, they are clearly true animal lovers. They will take excellent care of your pet. We will be forever grateful for all Javier and Pets to Home did for our sweet dog and for our family.
My experience with Pets to Home has been life-saving! They are extremely responsible, responsive and attentive. I was trying to bring back my 3 dogs from Costa Rica, which was a real logistical nightmare and quite a challenge. Went through 4 plane cancellations and numerous hours on the phone trying to sort things out. I had so many problems that I gave up and called Pets To Home. If I knew, I would have called much sooner. They actually brought back my dogs from Nosara to San Jose by adapted ground transport, arranged everything including booking and documents for the flight using cargo, and my pets arrived safely and happy. They have went above and beyond to make sure everything was going ok, and find solutions when problems arised. Noe was always available and communicating throughout the process. I really can't recommend them enough. They are finally home and everyone is so happy! Thank you PTH!
