We used Cargo Rechy to transport our dogs from Mexico City to Tabasco. Cargo Rechy an IPATA member?? Good for transporting live animals?? My dogs were loaded into a van without air conditioning and travelled at night leaving Mex City, why would a IPATA member do this?? Truck was as Cargo Rechy claimed car jacked / stolen on the highway around Puebla around midnight. Driver kept his mobile phone and received a farewell bonus from robbers but didnt use his phone to inform Cargo Rechy on the robbery, Cargo Rechy as they claim only noted 3 hours later that the robbers were attempting to remove the car GPS tracker but forgot to record the location at that time. Cargo Rechy also forgot to inform myself the dog owner of the robbery, only 11 hours later when I asked where are my dogs I was informed on the so called robbery / inside job. I would like to inform all please think twice before you use Cargo Rechy
My ferrets traveled from Madrid to Mexico City and arrived in perfect condition. I received constant support, attention, and kindness from the staff throughout the customs clearance and import process. We're now home with them, safe and sound, and very happy.
Our experience with Cargo Rechy was unsatisfactory. During a phone call, when we asked specific questions about international pet transport, we perceived a lack of clarity and reassurance in the answers. Subsequently, we sent an email detailing our concerns, but these were not addressed concretely. Finally, they confirmed in writing that they only handle pet transport as air cargo and do not offer the option of the animal traveling on the same flight as its owners. While this option may be valid in some cases, it did not meet our needs. Due to the lack of clear support from the beginning and the limited personalized guidance, we decided to choose another company with greater transparency, an ethical approach, and extensive experience in international pet transport, backed by very positive reviews. We would not recommend this service to those seeking detailed advice and options that prioritize the well-being and peace of mind of pet owners.
