I engaged Multicargo Pets to bring my Yorkshire Terrier cross from Ireland to Australia. I found Irene, the main contact person, to be professional, experienced and ethical, and she and the team caring towards animals. My dog arrived safe and sound into Melbourne, sailed through quarantine and her onward internal flight without issues, and the big journey - although it must have been stressful for her at the time - doesn't seem to have affected her at all. She's now living her best life in her new home. All in all, an honest and very reasonably-priced service.
We dealt with Irene when bringing our Dwarf rabbit to Toronto in July. Irene was excellent. She really put my mind at ease. She communicated with me almost daily in the lead up to the flight. If I hadn't been stressed with the move in general, the whole process of pet travel would of been basically stress free ! Everything was communicated every well, without mountains of paperwork. She made sure we had everything before travelling & she assured me our rabbit would be fine. I cannot thank her or the team enough. I would highly recommend them for Pet Travel.
If you are moving your pets to Dublin, then I highly recommend using Multi Cargo as the Clearing Agent for them. I shipped 3 dogs and a cat in 2 shipments. Multi Cargo (Irene) was so patient answering all my questions. They did a fantastic job clearing my dogs with customs, walking them, cleaning their crates, and delivering them to my home. They were wonderful!
Irene from multi cargo did a great job organizing the transport of my beloved dogs to Michigan United States. They took care of everything even picked up my dogs from my home of the day of shipping for an additional fee of course. I would highly recommend them for peace of mind knowing your pets are in the hands of people who take care of dozens or more of animals a week. They know what they are doing. Supplied crates and all the things you need to do to have your animal ready. She then sends you a very detailed itinerary for the day of travel. I would also highly recommend using a customs broker that Irene suggests. Depending on where your animal is traveling however. It helps so you don’t have to run back and forward when you land with customs paperwork. Well worth the extra spend. I don’t know what else to say except they did a top notch job and it’s very clear to me they knew exactly what to do. I will use multi cargo again if I ever travel back to Ireland:) pics and videos of my two dogs after the trip settling into their new home.
3 stars because they are very responsive to emails and my cats arrived in good conditions. They also send pics of your pets before they do the check-in which is very appreciated. On the other hand, you are trusting a company with such a big deal, your pets are so important to you! I really missed some more empathy and many explanations about how the process would be. I asked some questions a few times and never felt they were properly addressed. We were supposed to get a call from the cargo company in Spain to pick them up and some instructions about where to find them- this never happened. We have to look for the place like crazy. Again, your pets are one of the most important things for you and you feel like this wasn't taken into consideration, I could have been less worried about them if things would have done a bit differently.
