Willemien, our dachsie, had just spent two days flying from South Africa and is a super anxious little pup. She's a spicy wiener to say the least. Mike and the rest of the team at Pender Air, got her through all the red tape and delivered to our hotel just a few hours after landing. And she was her old self in just a few minutes. Working with PenderAIr was a great experience. We flew our large Labrador to the UK and all the documentation was done and he got through all of the various government hoops smoothly. He arrived in great spirits. It was wonderful to leave this challenging step to professionals who took great care of our buddy.

We used Pender AIR to import our dog from Bangkok Thailand. The team at Pender AIR worked quickly to help accommodate our request. They were very sensitive to our dogs history of having allergic reactions to different brands of rabies vaccinations, which was super helpful and encouraging. They gave her special observation after the vaccine and she was so excited and friendly that when we came to pick her up one of the team had been asking jokingly if she was available for adoption because she was so friendly. Whenever we saw the interactions between this team member and our pet it gave us lots of encouragement. Also, in the knowledge that our pup usually holds her urine and feces for grass, the team member who picked our pup up from the airport sent me photos right away, once she was in grass, and gave me a report that she had indeed gone to the bathroom and her crate was, as I expected dry, so having the photos gave me such peace that I was able to sleep well while we waited to pick her up the next day. Given that Pender AIR is one of the few places that work with importing dogs from high risk countries, I am very pleased with our choice to use their services. As a pet parent throughout the process of communication with all the team members, I was always encouraged. Given the short time of our request, everything worked out and I am very thankful to the entire team at Pender that worked with our fur baby and interacted with us during the process. It helped the transition go smoothly, and I would recommend going through Pender if you are importing a pet to the US from a high risk country. It made everything super smooth.

I can’t say enough about Karla and the entire Pender Air team who arranged the transportation of our dog from the US to Egypt. Having moved internationally several times we initially planned to do it ourselves. Needless to say, between the Egyptian, EU, and airline requirements, coupled with heat embargos, it became quite an endeavor. I contacted two other companies, neither of which inspired much confidence. Fortunately, my third email was to Karla who responded within minutes. In a subsequent call she did a great job in laying out their processes and answering lots of questions. One really assuring item was the fact she knew an Egyptian customs importer by name and could also explain the process he’d undertake once our dog arrived in Cairo. Karla also sent us photographs of Owen during his boarding at Pender and immediately prior to him being handed over to Emirates. Despite a last minute itinerary change, which Karla handled in stride, our dog made it to Egypt safe and sound. If you need help in moving a furry family member overseas I highly recommend Karla and Pender Air!!!
