Lakshini and her team are brilliant! I couldn’t have asked for a better agent to handle our pets’ travel. From receiving them at the airport to delivering them safely to our home, they took care of everything—and more. We found a very weak dog on a beach in the Puttalam area and decided to adopt her in a hesrtbeat and bring her to Germany – only for the complexity of the undertaking to dawn on us later. After a bit of research, we came across Lakshini/Pet Travels Lanka and are feeling truly lucky to have found her. She organised all the paperwork, logistics around the various vet checkups, tests, quarantine rules and medical procedures required by the EU. Always friendly, responsive and with a huge heart for making the life of Sri Lankan street doggies better, while also giving genuine advice on how to keep the costs manageable. We sailed through customs upon arrival and our new dog Lanka is settling in super well in her new home with our first rescue. Huge thank you, Lakshini ❤️
Thank you Lakshani for the fantastic, efficient and smooth process in getting our dog safely from Bahrain to Sri Lanka. Lakshini from Pet Travels Lanka is extremely good at her job! She has knowledge of all requirements, is efficient, communicates clearly, and has the wellbeing of your pet at the forefront of her mind. She helped us with importing our dog from the Netherlands into Sri Lanka in 2022 and with moving her onwards to South Africa in 2025.
