These volunteers are committed to a truly important and meaningful cause. For years, they’ve worked tirelessly to help manage the stray population; educating pet owners, feeding cats and dogs in need, and offering vital spay and neuter clinics. Their compassion and dedication are extraordinary. I only wish there were more people in the world like them, giving a voice to the voiceless. Thank you, Placencia Humane Society, for everything you do.
Such a great organization! When i found a frightened, limping kitty in Placencia, I contacted them & they were so helpful! They made a facebook post with photos of the kitty to find the owner & reunite them! They also help with fixing animals & vaccines!! Wish i lived down here & could volunteer there!
I’ve fostered many animals and worked with a lot of different organizations over the last 10 years and Placencia humane is clearly doing it right. The devoted staff is working so hard to help all the animals here by educating owners, offering spay and neuter clinics, feeding animals, and finding caring homes for them. If you can help them by donating money or food it will go a long way to helping the animals in need. Hoping I can help out again in the future!
Great experience with my pets and the care at Placencia Humane Society. My dog was sick with an intestinal infection and they knew what to do to heal her. :) Very caring and they are always trying to help the community of Placencia. 5 star service *****
The Placencia Humane Society is absolutely amazing! You can tell right away how much the volunteers truly care about every animal that comes through their doors. They go above and beyond to provide love, medical care, and a safe space for rescues. The dedication and compassion from the entire team is inspiring.
