My wife and I used Air Sea Forwarding to transport our dog from Ireland to the USA (JFK). We were relocating for work and had many other things to manage, so their support was incredibly helpful. We worked mostly with Emmet and Daire. They advised us to purchase a travel crate early and help our dog get used to it since he had never been crate‑trained. That was excellent advice, it really helped calm our anxious dog before the trip. Daire handled all communication and paperwork with IAG Cargo in both Ireland and the USA. All we had to do was confirm our travel date. Since JFK has many daily flights from Ireland, we were able to book our own tickets first and secure our dog’s flight about 10 days before departure. While the same flight wasn’t guaranteed, they did guarantee a same‑day flight for our dog. The instructions on the Irish side were very clear, and the process went smoothly until two days before departure, when we hadn’t yet received confirmation from the JFK side. We were told there was a chance we might need to arrange someone to stay with our dog and fly without him. That would have been extremely difficult for us, as we lived on the west coast of Ireland and had no feasible way to arrange last‑minute transport back from/to Dublin. Thankfully, everything worked out and the booking was confirmed. Once in the USA, it took a few hours to get our dog released from customs, but that part was outside Air Sea Forwarding’s control. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the stress caused by the possibility that our dog might not arrive on the same day as us. We had a four‑hour drive ahead of us, and if his flight had been delayed, it would have been a major challenge. However, in the end, everything went well.
My partner and I used Airsea to move our pet cat from Ireland to Tenerife. It was something we were quite nervous about as our cat is a house cat and his only travel before this was to his vet appointments which always stressed him out. From first contact the customer support was friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable with the process. We dealt mostly with Daire who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything. He walked us through the entire process step by step. He made the process extremely easy and was very quick to reply to any questions we had. The journey itself went very well. We knew our cat was in good hands the entire time and is checked out by a vet on each stop on his journey. Our cat arrived healthy and happy and collecting him was very easy. It took him a matter of minutes to get back to himself after he was let out of the carrier. We knew this meant he had minimal stress and was cared for well on his journey as if this wasn’t the case he would have been a lot more stressed. It’s been a week since he arrived and using Airsea to get him here was the best decision we made in a long time.
We recently relocated our Labradoodle, Belle, from Ireland to Australia with the help of AirSea, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Emmett took care of her travel plans and made sure everything that needed to be in place was taken care of. He was always available to answer our questions, and his knowledge made us feel confident that Belle was in safe hands. What could have been a stressful experience turned into a smooth and well-managed journey. We are so thankful to Emmett and the AirSea team for the care and attention they gave to Belle’s relocation. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was looked after every step of the way
Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish! Daire was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process of relocating our three cats (Lei, Ela and Nala) from Dublin to Seattle. He clearly explained every step, addressed our questions with patience, and ensured all paperwork and logistics were handled perfectly. A special thanks to Bridie, who met us at the IAG Cargo Terminal—she was warm, efficient, and reassuring during what could have been a very stressful moment. Her assistant was equally kind and helpful. Thanks to their care and attention, our cats arrived safely and comfortably at our home just two hours after we landed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re considering international pet transport, I can’t recommend Daire and the team at Air Sea Forwarding highly enough!
We used Air Sea Forwarding to transport our large dog, Cheeseburger, from Dublin to Toronto. Emmett was our point person and was exceptional. What really made me appreciate this company is that when we found out that the flight would be delayed by 4 hours, Emmett had a member of the team check on Cheeseburger and take her out for a walk. 10/10 would recommend!
