My dog Max is a black lab with tons of energy so much so that he got refused at another kennel. I thought what ever am I gonna do lol then I heard about belle kennel an Patti says no dog gets refused. We'll it turns out Max has a ball there cause they monitor him an hooked him up with the same high energy dog, an they were nice enough to send me pictures of him smiling all day. He can't wait to go back an squeals like a baby when I go up their driveway. They are awesome!!! Here are pictures after he comes home. I've read some of the other reviews an see that everyone is happy altho a couple have said some negative things which they are allowed to do. It broke my heart as belle kennel has gone above what I had hoped for an I just met these people. Let's just say there is a .05 percent of the population nobody can please lol. My dog loves you guys.
We just moved to Nova Scotia this past year, and this was the first kennel we’ve used. We spent a long time researching options in the area and came across Belle Kennel. We loved that it’s out of town with such a great outdoor space for the dogs to enjoy. Patti sent us lots of photos while we were away, which we really appreciated. She’s excellent at communicating and responds to emails very fast! We felt very comfortable leaving Ellie with her and will definitely do it again in the future.
We were hesitant to leave our girl for over two weeks but Patti was very kind and welcoming and allowed us a trial day and a trial night before our trip which made things much easier on us! Communication was wonderful and the pictures Patti sent while we were away put our minds at ease. Would not hesitate to have our dog stay at Belle Kennel again in the future!
I am supposed to write this earlier but I think do good things never too late: I simply say Belle Kennel is a VERY good place for your pet. I sent my dog Cooper in for almost a month in December, 2023 and he was just happy to be there. My dog looked heathy and happy and that is all I can say. The owner Petti (daughter of Mr. Gordon) - they are both nice and doing things right. Again, I simply say my dog was happy at Belle Kennel and yours would be.
We wouldn't send our dogs anywhere else - we had a black lab who was very hyper (Zeppelin, now passed🐾🌈) and LOVED it at Belle Kennel. Now we have Indie, who can be quite anxious around strangers as she's had two ortho surgeries and previous negative experience at another daycare, but she happily prances into BK and is pleasantly exhausted when she comes home. They manage to pair her up with dogs that match her energy (which can be quite high at times!) so she gets lots of socializing she wouldn't otherwise get. Highly recommend!
