I have moved 8 times around the world, switzerland, mexico, USA, Chile, Spain and repeat again and this company by far is the most professional company I have come across. They way they treat your goods, the excellent packing, the staff very clean and professional, it is simply great to count with such professionalism. Thank you SIM for taking care of my items and it is amazing working with you guys for the second time. 8 years later and you guys still making massive improvements. Highly recommended.
We arrived in Peru and SIM was great : they deliver our things in a very efficient way. When we were about to leave Peru, we decided to call SIM again : their quote was great, they estimated our shipment to be around 8 square meters for US$ 4,565.00+IGV. We decided to work with them again because in this quote they were clear about the final price : "The total estimated cost of our economic proposal is for reference only; the invoice value will be calculated by multiplying the offered rate by the verifiable volume at the end of the packing process." When the packers were done, we were surprised to measure something like 5 square meters only. Surprisingly, we were told a bit later it was 6 square meters... The error on the estimated volume during the quote (8 square meters vs a final 6 square meters) was still pretty important (25 % !!!). And, unfortunately, we never received the final bill. We were asked by a simple email to pay USD 4,165.00 + IGV which was absolutely not the expected price (which should have been USD 3611,28 + IGV). We asked some explanation, some detailed bill, but after 4 months, we are still waiting. Honestly, skip the anxiety and the headaches, find someone else...
For a diplomatic client of the French Embassy. Problem: they make billing errors, charge twice for the same thing, and hold the container hostage. The same problem has occurred with numerous clients of the French Embassy. Absolutely avoid them.
I recently completed my third move with SIM and they've always been impeccable, on schedule, and with a super experienced and respectful team. 5 stars every time!
It's a disgrace, they quote you a shipping price and end up charging you a much higher price.
