I had the pleasure of working with Small Five to move 3 large breed dogs from Nairobi to Miami over a period of 3 months. In that time I worked closely with Dr. Ouma and his team through a stressful, rigorous and highly expensive process. This five star review is because Small Five delivered the results we needed at the end of it all. All 3 dogs made it safely to their destination. We faced many challenges with this pet relocation, majority of which were not in Small Five's control - despite all difficulties, I would work with their team again and recommend them highly for their expertise, their spacious and equipped facility and their relentless efforts to achieve results.
Small Five helped us to seamlessly move our two cats from Kenya to Belize - not an easy journey!! They are very well connected to other pet movers around the world so you can also get a recommended company for receiving them. We had a dedicated WhatsApp group set up with everyone involved so received real time updates at every step of their journey. Since they are also a vet, the pre-checks ahead of their trip were easy to arrange and they also facilitated rabies tests and vaccines. I would highly recommend going with Small Five if you need pet relocation.
Negligent and insensitive. I took my cat for treatment and left it to be boarded. I came back a day later and shockingly this poor weak kitten who is terrified of dogs was housed in the dog area. Instead of telling me the day before my kitten would be boarded with dogs because he had catflu and they didn't have space, when I complained,the vet said the fear of the dogs could help decongest the cats chest! Absolute unprofessionalism. Shameful. Recommend more sensitive care by Mobivet Edit: the vets below say the dogs that the kitten was housed in were small or timid. These were loud dogs. Eitherway my kitten is petrified of dogs. The issue is they didn't tell me before we boarded that they would have my kitten with dogs! Accept your disgusting treatment. You could have told me that you don't have space. I would have brought back the kitten home in calm and wellbeing.
I left my cat here for 18 days over Christmas holidays and I came back and found her caged and almost dying! It couldn't even stand. They said she caught a flu after a week and she hadn't been eating at all yet when we got home she fed like she'd been starved for DAYS! I asked for proof of diagnosis and there has been no response on this. They just gave me a bill of meds given to her without my consent. The situation I found her in really broke my heart 💔 . LEFT TO DIE! I picked her, went home fed her and called admin the next day and his comment was that my cat survived by miracle. They had given up on her.
A little expensive but you get what you pay for. The top notch service got our pet home in good health. Eunice was extremely responsive and Dr Gabriel as well. Got a tough job done on a short timeline, during a heat embargo no less. Don’t think twice, use this team!
