It is a mixed feeling. I just recently moved from Germany to India where the India leg of the transfer of household goods was handled by Verto. The communication was clear in the sense that the contact person let me know the potential timelines on the arrival of the ship, clearance from customs and the final delivery of course. What left a sour taste was the handling of the customs duty which was paid for the LED TV brought in from Germany. I was asked to pay a certain amount as customs duty to the personal account of the Verto Mobility person handling this rather than to the business account. I was promised clear documentation once the shipment is released. It is going to be almost close to 2 months since the shipment has been released, products delivered without any damage, but no documentation has been received until now. More than a couple of calls and texts sent to the Verto Mobility contact elicited no response. I really do not want to take names here and mar the reputation of this person, but this needs to be handled by Verto. A special mention needs to be made for the MD, Mr. Chandra Mouli who answered my call, listened patiently and provided a solution when I was being asked to pay additional money as port charges. This was handled extremely professionally. Nevertheless, one wrong action has the potential to mar many rights.
We used Verto for our international move. Right from the initial visit, while getting the quote, to finally receiving our goods at the destination, verto has provided great service. The team did a very good job with packing and the move. would highly recommend.
The team at Verto (led by Raman) was extremely professional in handling my New Delhi to New York move. They were very communicative, helpful and managed the entire door-to-door process with care, including the complex paperwork. My items were expertly wrapped and boxed and arrived in perfect condition. I was nervous about it all going smoothly but didn't need to worry, they had everything covered.
After 14 years in India we decided to move back to the US. We went with Verto Mobility for the move. When it came to shipping household items, Shiva was the primary person interacting with me on our move back to the US. Shiva and team were very professional and well organized.
